For a long time I had a motto: “Life is for adventures.”

This philosophy took me all kinds of places, but somehow I still ended up at a job where I performed repetitive tasks for years.

Suffice it to say I awoke one morning from uneasy dreams to find myself transformed into a graduate student.

I have been blogging in one form or another since 2002.  Longer, if you count GeoCities.

This is the latest incarnation of my personal blog, a new start for a new era.

I have no idea what I’m going to write about.
